It began in 2005 with a vision and the first successful functioning prototype of Dr Franz Freuler, an orthopaedic surgeon, and culminated in 2018 in the founding of the medical-technology firm U-Sana Medical AG in Oberwil (BL), Switzerland.
Through many years of cooperation with renowned podiatric orthopaedic surgeons and experienced orthopaedic technicians, U-Sana Medical AG optimised and refined the concept and developed an innovative, easy-to-use, CPM device with an appealing design for rapid regeneration following hallux valgus surgery. Two patents have since been granted in Europe and the USA, and a third patent has been applied for.
U-Sana Medical AG places great importance on effectiveness and safety in combination with ease of use, while focussing on high standards of quality and reliability.
